Key Responsibilities:
Secure Transportation:
- Take family members to and from activities, appointments, work, and school.
- Make sure that transportation is always prompt, safe, and legal.
Car Upkeep:
- Make sure the vehicle is fuelled, clean, and in good working order.
- carry out routine such as tire inspections and oil changes.
Availability and punctuality:
- Be available and accommodating with your working hours, especially on the weekends or on holidays if necessary.
- Remain professional and on time at all times.
Confidentiality and Security:
- Preserve the employer’s and their family’s safety and privacy.
- Discreetly handle family and personal affairs.
Records:
- Make sure all of your car’s paperwork is up to date, including the insurance and registration.
- If necessary, maintain a record of your travels and fuel usage.
Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Two to three years of driving experience is a minimum.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and highways.
- No history of driving infractions.
- Basic knowledge of Arabic or English.
- Good health and vision.
- Consider the privacy and directives of the employer.
- Work on the weekends, holidays, and at your own pace.
- Using navigation applications and GPS.
- A basic understanding of car maintenance is advantageous.
