The Arabian Machinery and Heavy Equipment Company are seeking a talented and motivated worker as a computer progremer.To build code to automate power-driven devices such lathes and mills that cut and polish metal, wood, or plastic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verifies finished programs through tests or simulations.
- Using the appropriate software, creates geometric layouts for designs.
- Select the necessary cutting tools.
- Examines the job order and makes the required computations.
- Creates new programs and makes changes to old ones to make them more effective.
- Examines and chooses program cutting tools and speeds.
- Improves the time it takes to set up tasks and contour intricate objects.
- Makes tooling time easier for employees and boosts client producti
Requirements:
- Excellent computer programming abilities are required.
- Excellent reading comprehension abilities are required.
- Strong mathematical abilities, particularly in physics, algebra, and trigonometry.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities are required.
- Excellent time management abilities are required.
- Needs to have a mechanical bent.
- Familiarity with metalworking.
- The ability to function well under minimal or no supervision is a must.
- Understanding the safety precautions that are relevant to each task.
Experience and Education
- A high school diploma.
- An associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, computer science, or CNC programming.
- An understanding of machine tools and electronics.
- Programming experience.
- Accredited technical school certification.
