Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), established in 2004, is a leading Saudi telecommunications company. With major shareholders including Etisalat Emirates Group (27.99%) and the General Organization for Social Insurance (6.90%), we are now seeking a skilled and motivated Fiber Optic Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Setup: Connect and set up fiber optic lines and other parts that go with them. 
• Maintenance and Repairs: Keep fiber optic networks in good shape and fix problems as they come up.
• Testing and Inspecting: Test and inspect fiber optic communications.
• Support for Networks: Help with the planning and building of fiber optic networks. 
• Documentation and Reporting: Write down exactly what you do during installation and upkeep. 
• Collaboration: Make sure projects get done by working closely with the engineering and technical teams.

 Qualifications

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification in Fiber Optic Technology or related field is preferred.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Technician or in a similar technical role.
• Experience with fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting is a must.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work alone or with other people.

Work Hours

• Standard workweek: 40 hours, Monday to Friday
• Flexibility in hours may be required depending on project deadlines or customer needs
• Overtime opportunities available when needed
