Full-time job in Oman. Al Shomoukh International Private School is seeking an experienced and skilled Lab supervisor.. The Lab Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school’s science laboratories, ensure a safe, organized, and healthy environment for students and stafff. You should have 2 years of experience as a Lab supervisor. Pay based on your experience.
Lab supervisor responsibility
- Get the lab ready for experiments (set up tools, equipment, and materials).
- Help teachers and students during lab work.
- Make sure everyone follows safety rules.
- Take good care of the lab gear and make sure it stays clean and works.
- Keep track of lab supplies and order more when needed.
- Safely throw away waste materials (like chemicals).
- Teach students how to use lab tools safely
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a science subject, like physics, biology, chemistry, or astronomy
- Some experience working in a lab (school or other)
- Excellent understanding of lab equipment and safety rules
- Having the ability to organise work and use time well
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Careful and pays attention to details
- Enjoys working with students and helping them learn
