Introduction to the Job
We are currently seeking Skilled Masons, Skilled Carpenters, and Skilled Steel Fixers to join our construction team. We offer exciting opportunities for qualified professionals to work on a major construction project. If you have the expertise and experience in any of these trades, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Skilled Mason:
- Lay bricks, stones, and concrete blocks.
- Ensure proper alignment and finish of walls, floors, and other structures.
- Mix and apply mortar, plaster, and other materials.
- Skilled Carpenter:
- Install and repair structures made of wood, including doors, windows, and frameworks.
- Measure and cut wood materials with precision.
- Assemble and fit wooden parts of buildings and structures.
- Skilled Steel Fixer:
- Install and secure steel reinforcement in concrete structures.
- Read blueprints and specifications to ensure proper placement and alignment of steel bars.
- Work closely with other tradesmen to ensure smooth workflow and quality construction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant trade.
- Proven skills in the specific trade (Masonry, Carpentry, or Steel Fixing).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work long hours in various weather conditions.
- Fluency in English is a plus.
