We provide many services, such as supplying, planning, purchasing, and construction. Arabianscape is your one-stop solution for all project needs, making the process easier and focused on the client from start to finish.
Arabianscape started its activity in Madinah, then the company covered most of the Kingdom’s regions. Arabianscape plans to expand to provide its services and products to all regions of the Kingdom and expand outside it.
2.Job Summary
We are looking for a careful and experienced Accountant to handle financial deals, create records, and make sure follow accounting rules and laws. The best individual should have good mathematical skills and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Cost Accounting & Budgeting
- Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for each construction project.
- Track and control material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual costs) and provide cost-saving recommendations.
- Identify cost overruns and implement corrective actions to ensure project profitability.
2. Financial Planning & Cash Flow Management
- Forecast and manage cash flow to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee progress billing and milestone payments from clients.
- Ensure timely payments to contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors while managing outstanding dues.
3. Taxation & Compliance (Saudi Tax Laws & VAT)
- Make sure to follow Saudi tax rules, including Value Added Tax (VAT) and Withholding Tax (WHT).
- Find out which tax breaks and discounts apply to the building industry.
- Handle Zakat, income tax, and customs duty submissions and make sure they follow the rules.
4. Financial Reporting & Auditing
- Prepare project-wise financial statements on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Calculate depreciation and amortization of company assets (land, machinery, vehicles, etc.).
- Maintain records for internal and external audits to ensure financial transparency.
5. Contract Accounting & Payment Management
- Check the financial terms of contracts before you sign them.
- Handle retainage accounting, which means putting back part of the cash until the job is finished.
- Keep an eye on progress payments, payments to subcontractors, and client bills to prevent payment delays.
6. ERP & Accounting Software Implementation
- Set up and oversee ERP systems designed for building.
- Automate financial reports and record transactions to work more efficiently.
- Make sure to keep track of job expenses and work that is still being completed.
7. Risk Management & Legal Compliance
- Identify financial risks related to project financing and investment.
- Check insurance plans like contractor’s liability, workers’ compensation, and project insurance to reduce risks.
- Make sure to follow Saudi labor laws, IFRS standards, and government rules.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar area.
- Preferably, you should have a CPA, ACCA, or similar qualification.
- You have relevant skills as an accountant or in a related job.
- Skilled in using bookkeeping tools like QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or related programs.
- Good understanding of GAAP/IFRS and accounting rules.
