Introduction to the Job
As the Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our food and beverage services. Working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager, you’ll ensure that guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience across various outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, including restaurants, bars, and room service.
- Supervise and train the food and beverage team to ensure excellent service for all guests.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor inventory, place supply orders, and manage stock levels to keep operations running efficiently.
- Ensure all areas comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and planning for special events and promotions.
- Work with the management team to improve processes and enhance guest experiences.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in food and beverage, preferably in a hotel or fine-dining setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, inventory control, costing, and health and safety regulations.
- A proactive attitude and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field are a plus.
