Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee and manage hotel supplies, equipment, and stock.
- Stock Tracking: Use the IDS (Inventory Management System) to ensure accurate stock levels and keep track of all items.
- Stock Audits: Conduct regular audits to maintain proper stock rotation and reduce discrepancies.
- Receiving and Storing Goods: Inspect, receive, and store items, ensuring proper conditions for storage.
- Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and manage inventory restocking.
- Organize Storage: Maintain a clean, efficient, and safe storage area.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to meet operational needs.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to the management team.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years in a similar storekeeping or inventory role, preferably in the hotel or hospitality sector.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with IDS or other inventory management software is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
- Communication: Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word, is required.
- Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
